Our Community Planning Program provides a robust, structured framework to foster genuine community ownership and deliver tangible outcomes. for local Council community groups and townships. Our program is designed to build lasting capacity, enabling comunity members to identify, design, and implement projects that matter to them.
We believe an essential element of community planning is co-design, shifting the balance of power to communities and their people to make important decisions about their lives and those whose lives they hold close. Our co-design model builds new relationships and opens the door to curiosity and sharing responsibility.
Over the last four years we have mentored Golden Plains Shire Council community planning groups through the development, implementation, and reporting of their townships 4-year Community Plans, working with network of over 130 volunteer Community Coordinators.
