Council Community Training

Non profit training provides Council community training sessions, to help up-skill and build the capacity of their local community groups. We offer a range of topics delivered both online and face-to-face in sessions, varying from governance and finance, through to grant writing, funding, marketing and social media.

All workshops are tailored to suit the varying sizes of community groups who attend these sessions, so that both those experienced, and those less experienced, gain a lot from the sessions. We customise the topics, the content, and adjust the language in the course descriptors to suit the audience needs in order to maximise interest in training sessions and provide practical learnings for the community groups.

Our Council community training session topics include:

  • Committee governance
  • Strategic planning
  • Financial literacy and budgeting
  • Grant writing, fundraising and acquittals
  • Marketing and social media
  • Skill development
